MELBOURNE, VIC, Australia - 29/03/2012 - LakOfSkill Enterprises has announced today that it will be ceasing operations as of April 1st 2012. This actions is due to a lawsuit filed against the company by SkillTech Computers Incorporated.

All LakOfSkill projects and websites, including The Awesome Side, Technicon and JBZ will be shut down.

We have had a good few years at LakOfSkill and we are sad that it has to come to an end. Thankyou to everyone for supporting us all the way and we wish everyone the best for the future! Below is a quick goodbye video from Liam & Zak.

Preparing for the Race of Courage

Hey everyone!

Well the Race of Courage may seem like a really, really, really, really long way away, but preparations have already begun! We've already booked our campsite and we're working on getting our web stream set up and stabilised for easy streaming without freezing & dropouts!

This year we will be documenting our trip from start to finish, and we will be putting all that stuff together into one big web show with narration and everything! It's going to be super duper awesome!!!! What makes things even better is that this year is the 50th anniversary of the great race at Bathurst! We're going to be making this a big weekend!!!!

"I'm Not that Fat!" - Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis

Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis is an interview series on Funny or Die hosted by Zach Galifianakis. Zach conducts interviews with popular celebrities between two potted ferns. The show is filmed to resemble a low-budget amateur production fit for public-access television. He maintains an awkward and sometimes antagonistic demeanor with his guests, asking them bizarre and inappropriate questions mixed with off-handed non sequiturs. Recent episodes have included segments in which Galafianakis awkwardly interrupts his guests to promote a stick deodorant.

The show started as a short film on Scott Aukerman & B.J. Porter's Fox sketch pilot "The Right Now! Show," a spin-off of their Comedy Death-Ray live show. After the network passed, the duo put the short up on the website Funny Or Die, where it found its successful transition into an internet series.

The first two episodes were directed by Zombieland & 30 Minutes or Less director Ruben Fleischer, and subsequent episodes were directed by Scott Aukerman, B.J. Porter, and Daniel Strange. Aukerman & Porter have "executive produced" each episode, and there is debate about how much of each short is actually written or prepared beforehand.
